So it is time to pack the bags, and move to new home!

Well, good luck with that. I foresee this as the start of the end of tumblr’s relevency (Verizon’s stock has already plummeted it seems). Your consistent strategy of trying to clean window smudges with hammerblows has finally broke the window. So yeah, fuck you tumblr. Fuck you and your false platitudes about supporting creatives–we’re nothing nothing compared to your shareholders.
So good riddance, I say.
I’m honestly not too concerned for myself though. I’ve been slightly pulling away from NSFW art as income (not really intentionally) for some time now, and I’m not all that dependent on it at the moment. I have no specific plans yet, but something will turn up.
I mean, the fact is some other site will spawn to fill the void. I’m not gonna get too worked up about what do to. I’m going to assume this account (which has been consistently *technically* SFW) will stay around, and I’ll keep in contact with my fanbase about where they can find my NSFW content.
To NSFW creatives who are having their livelihoods threatened, I wish you the best of luck. This will be an awkward time, but I assure you something will come up sooner rather than later.
To NSFW content fans, I encourage you to not freak out. Be supportive and reach out to your favorite creators and offer them support.
This time next year, we’ll all be laughing tumblr for digging it’s own grave.

So yup, about half of all my posts are flagged, so this’ll be a shell of what it was pretty soon. Thankfully i’ve got everything exported and i’m workin’ on re-archiving it all somewhere else! As well as like, making a site just for myself, maybe?
Regardless, it hurts that tumblr’s goin’ down like this. I have double the followers here than anywhere else: twitters got 20k, FA has 17k, but there’s 37k of you here!!! Some who’ve followed me all the way back from the early pony days when I was just figuring myself out and learning how to draw. Lotta people, lotta memories. Exported it all, sure, but still, sucks to basically lose it all.
The next couple weeks I’ll do my best to just like, reblog a ton of classic stuff on here with links to other places to find me; I thankfully never put all my eggs in one basket, and upload my stuff as many places as I can. So nothing will be stopped or disappearing! Just moved.
